Saturday 15th February.

Event by Sophie Rey Creative Soul Somatics & Art. St Laurence Church and The Ark, Alvechurch.

This winter Retreat Day, Creative Reconnect, is a place of exploration and playfulness. It allows you to connect with your creativity and experience the soothing and nurturing effect that Somatics, Yoga, Art, and Community have on your nervous system. A creative & nourishing start to 2025.

WHAT’S INCLUDED…

Gentle Somatic Movement & Yoga Asana
This is a slow-paced movement practice. Move your body with love and kindness to help focus your mind, release tension from the winter, shake off any nerves, and warm up your painting muscles.

Deeply Relaxing Yoga Nidra
It’s not all GO GO GO. The creative mind really benefits from slowing down and resting. Snuggle down, get cosy, and follow this guided meditation for deep rest of body and mind.

Step outside for a breath of fresh air and engage with nature. Pick up fallen leaves and twigs to inspire your Mandala.

Enjoy a warming & nutritious lunch (and snacks) with a wonderful bunch of like-minded people!

Drawing & Painting Mandalas
Yoga, Somatics, and Meditation helps us to get into a creative flow by getting into our bodies and out of our heads. We will explore creating our own Mandalas with a variety of materials!

All Art Materials are included; however, you will need to bring your own Yoga mats and props.

Saturday 15th February.

Event by The CanoCoach. Hopwood Community Centre. Duration: 1 hr.

PLEASE NOTE: Course pushed out to 8th February. Still has the same awesome content.

This six-week course will cover a range of behaviours and provide fun training sessions at your and your pup’s pace.

We will run a 9.30 class on Saturday mornings at Hopwood Community Centre with free parking.

This course is for puppies up to 6 months old (some flexibility here).

We will work as a small group on common puppy actions, and the course will provide you with the foundations for many helpful behaviours, such as sit, recall, stop, and loose-lead walking.

Each class will come with practice notes, as we encourage you to train regularly between sessions. There can be a maximum of 10 puppies, and this is with two trainers. If the minimum number of 4 is not reached, then the class may not run.

Full support is provided, and a Certificate is awarded upon completion. The course costs £90.00, and full payment is required in advance to secure your place.

Both trainers are IMDT qualified and have many years of experience.
We only advocate force-free, positive reinforcement training methods.

A registration form and payment details will be supplied on request.
